A walk along the beach

Nice day for a walk? I think so!

 

So I set off for a walk along a stretch of Downhill Beach this afternoon. This beautiful 11 km stretch of sand in County Antrim is perfect for a day out. As an area of scientific interest and a special area of conservation it is perfect to take in the sites and sounds of nature along the coast of Antrim. The sun is shining...

The sun is shining the sky is blue. What a beautiful day. It's strange how weather can change so quickly and in doing so affect our moods. This week is sunny last week we were hit with a blizzard knocking out our electricity for 6 days! Heres a picture from my bedroom in candlelight looking out at the Easter storm which was felt by most of Northern Ireland.
